About the Products

We do custom made cutting boards, cheese and bread boards, coasters, bottle opener plates, food trays and much more. If you see something online you would like me to do head over to the contact page here and drop a line.

We have a wide variety of small (12×10), Medium (16×10) and large (24×10) cutting boards that are super popular right now. Smaller Cheese boards are perfect for serving at parties, medium and large cutting boards are perfect for every day use. While we can attempt to make every cutting board look the same, please be aware if you select a cutting board it will be as close as possible to the one in the picture. Since every tree is different the grain can look different every time.

Cutting boards and all wood products are NOT dishwasher safe. They should be washed with soap and warm water and towel dried. Every board has been soaked in Food Safe Mineral Oil and buffed to a glossy shine with DIY Dads Food Safe Wood Butter. Please consider adding mineral oil as needed to help protect your wood product.

Where Does the Wood come From?

Since this is a small business, innovation is key and a lot of the innovation comes from the materials used.  All lumber is locally sourced from North Carolina. Most of the species like Walnut, Ash, Maple, Cherry all come from small businesses in North Carolina. Other materials like Paduak, African Mahogany, Purple Heart, Bubinga, Zebrawood and more come from South American and African countries, shipped to local stores and purchased locally. We try our best to cut out the middle man and go straight to the source if possible.

Got a larger project Idea?

We do larger projects as well. These include Dressers, Center Island Cutting Boards, Waterfall Benches, Tables, Trunks, Cabinets and more. If you see something you like somewhere online email us a picture and the dimensions and we will see what we can do to make it for you. Note that larger projects take longer to make (3-4 weeks, depending on the project). All larger projects require a price quote which includes labor and material costs. Larger projects require a non-refundable deposit of 1/2 the cost of the quote upfront for cost of the materials needed. Any questions please ask**
